Not too shabby!
Like Marsalforn, Xlendi is an immensely popular seaside town in Gozo. The beach here is relatively big and because it finds itself in an inlet, makes for a well-protected bay with beautiful clear waters.
Until some time ago, Xlendi was a nice, quiet fishing village. But development started taking off rapidly and is now home to hundreds of apartments and a couple of hotels. The area offers lots of restaurants and being close to the village centre, all the main amenities can be found. The area is popular for snorkelling or diving. There’s a part which is shallow and another area which is rocky, making it an ideal spot for a good cliff dive.
When not full of sunbathers and swimmers in summer, the area is a beautiful site for walking. A tower built in the 1650 is found in the area offering amazing views.
Xlendi is easily accessible by car.
