Visiting Spinola Bay

Getting there

Spinola Bay is the small harbour in the centre of St Julian's, on the coast road between Sliema and Paceville. Many buses running along the Sliema–St Julian's front stop nearby, and it is a pleasant walk along the promenade from Balluta or Sliema.

Parking

Parking is very limited around the bay and in central St Julian's. Use paid car parks nearby or come by bus.

Good to know

Spinola is a small fishing harbour lined with restaurants, bars and luzzu boats, rather than a beach. There is no easy way into the sea here, so for a swim walk to St George's Bay (sand, about 15 minutes) or the rocks at Balluta and Exiles. Come for an evening meal by the water and the LOVE sign.
