Not too shabby!
Tourists and local swimmers tend to head straight to Golden Bay and miss the tranquil swimming area of Ġnejna Bay, which sits more or less in the same area. But being less popular often means that the beach is less crowded, although the place is still quite popular with locals.
The area makes for a great place to swim but is also becoming renowned for watersports. In summer, you can rent out kayaks, giving you more freedom to explore the more secluded areas of this beach.
This beach in Malta is easily accessible by car. Swimming here is generally safe but keep an eye out for the occasional ‘Red Flag’ which signals strong waves.
