Scorpion Cave, also known as Anchor Bay Cave, is on the south side of Anchor Bay, opposite Popeye Village. Following the south wall out from the concrete jetty, you reach the entrance after about 150 metres, partly hidden behind a large boulder at 6 to 10 metres.

The cave is fully submerged only for the first few metres. Inside, divers can surface into a large air pocket beneath a domed ceiling, and the wide entrance lets in a blue light that keeps the exit in view. The cave goes back more than 80 metres, and the nooks shelter a good range of small marine life.

It is a shore dive with depths of around 8 to 10 metres, suitable for all levels. Keep breathing from your regulator in the air pocket, as the air is stale. Visibility in the bay can be poor after bad weather, and watch for tourist boats.
