Not too shabby!
Possibly one of the Maltese islands most popular beaches, Golden Bay is a beautiful sandy beach close to the village of Mgarr. The undeveloped countryside which shelters the area makes for a great surrounding. It is the second largest beach in Malta and in the peak of summer, it attracts hundreds of tourists and locals alike each day.
The beach is accessible and can even be reached by public transport. Facilities, such as places to buy snacks and public amenities are found in the area.
The beach is also a popular spot during the winter season as it also forms part of the Il-Majjistral Natural Park and Natura 2000 site.
