Pretty Bay

The beach of Pretty Bay sits in Birżebbuġa, a seaside area in the south of Malta. The area has been a popular spot for locals and tourists alike for swimming, sunbathing and ease of access.

The bay was artificially filled with sand recovered from the sea as it was originally a rocky beach area. This pretty beach in Malta is very close to the town centre and easily accessible by car. Close to the area is St George’s Bay, an inlet popular with fishermen. Now it has also gained popularity for water sports.
