It could be better.
White Tower Bay is an inlet with beautiful sea in the northern part of the island, facing the island of Gozo. The name comes from the fact that a white medieval tower, built by the Knights of St. John, sits at the edge of the rocky area of the beach.
The actual area where the tower was built is closed off to the public, mostly to protect the local flora.
The area, close to Armier and Mellieħa, is mostly popular with locals but it still manages to attract a sizeable crowd of beachgoers every summer. The area has all amenities including food and the renting of umbrellas.
